Cushion Walk Micro Wedge Loafer

What do you ladies think of my new Avon walking shoes? I walk a lot, so cushion-walks are just perfect for me. They’re very comfortable and I love them! These shoes arrived just on time; my old cushion-walk shoes, which I have for about 3 years now, got a little bit loose.

As I had mentioned previously, I am giving blogawards today to some blogs. A few days back, I had clicked this picture in the city of Paramaribo, which I also want to share with you ladies. Paramaribo is the capital of my country Suriname. You won’t find skyscrapers or very tall buildings out here in Suriname; if I’m correct, the tallest building is 10 storeys high, which is a bank. The city of Paramaribo is the most multi ethnic Caribbean city and it is also called ‘city of smiles’; you’ll find lots of happy smiling people out here.;) The white wooden monumental buildings are one of the characteristics of this city, which you’ll notice on the picture. The yellow building, all the way on the back, is the largest wooden cathedral in the world; maybe I’ll place some close-up pictures of this beautiful cathedral some other time out here.

I had made these colorful earrings myself. They were very easy to make; twisting and turning colored wires.:)

Other looks with True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Caribbean Sunset

A lot of my blog visitors seemed to like the way I had applied my True Color Eyeshadow Quad in Caribbean Sunset, that’s why I’m placing some more eye shadow looks out here this time. The colors of the Caribbean Sunset Quad are: dusty brown, radiant orange, deep turquoise and vivid bronze. The back of the box of this quad actually indicates how you should apply this eye shadow quad. There’s a picture of a model wearing this look in the brochure, but I don’t like this look, so I create ‘my own’ looks. If you want to create the look that the model is wearing in the brochure, this is how you should apply this quad. The model is actually wearing the ‘Vibrant Spice Quad’.

I was wearing my True Color Eyeshadow Quad  to the cinema past Thursday night. I went to the cinema together with my brothers and sister to watch the 3D movie ‘Captain America’. Have you guys seen this movie? I wouldn’t say that it’s a great movie, but I liked it. I had created the look below with three colors; instead of the radiant orange I had used my Glimmersticks Diamonds Eyeline in Twilight Sparkle, about which I had talked about in one of my previous posts. I had applied this eyeliner on my inner lash line and along my upper lash line. 4 new beautiful metallic shades of this eye liner will be available soon.

I had also created another look past Saturday with my True Color Eyeshadow Quad, which I’m sharing with you guys. I was wearing it to a wedding party in my neighborhood in the daytime. For this look I had only used one color: the vibrant orange. It’s very simple to create this look; you just apply a sheer coverage of your eye shadow all over your eye lids and then draw a bold vibrant line along your upper lash line with your eye shadow. I was actually inspired by the looks of the girls from the TV serial ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’. They were using a glossy eye shadow; this look actually looks prettier with a glossy eye shadow. I had also used a black kohl eyeliner for my inner lash line, but without the kohl eyeliner my eyes also looked pretty.

All the girls from The Secret Life of The American Teenager are looking gorgeous, but my personal favorite is Amy (Shailene Woodley). I’ve browsed some pictures from the internet of Shailene Woodley for you guys.

I have some more beautiful eye shadow ideas; maybe I’ll place those looks some other time out here. I also have news about one of the products I had blogged about; the ‘Hervé Léger Femme Eau de Parfum Spray’ is a 2011 winner. This perfume has been chosen as ‘Fragrance of The Year’ by The Fragrance Foundation. I think that I’ll continue blogging about jewelries for next time. Sometimes I don’t have any idea what I’m going to blog about for next time, but there’s always some idea that suddenly flashes into my mind, and sometimes there are so many ideas flowing into my brains as if some tap of my brains has been opened and they all rush out in a speed.:)

It’s jewelry time now! Months back, I had created some jewelries, but I was lazy in the writing part, so I’m going to place those jewelries out here now, together with some Avon jewelries that I like.

Blissful Blues Drop Pendant Gift Set

About this product          

This set is a faux stone set in burnished brass. The necklace is 17'' long with a 3'' extender.  The pierced earrings are 1½'' long.

What do I think about this product?

This is a very pretty set; I love the sparkling faux stones of this set.

Pink party bangles                                                         

I had planned to wear my pink sari to my cousin’s wedding party. A sari is a 5½ meters long unstitched garment that’s wrapped around the body. It’s a perfect fit for women of all sizes and worn world-wide by millions of women. I actually don’t know how to wear a sari, but my elder sister and my mom had helped me with it. I’ll place some sari pictures out here next time.

Everything matched perfectly, but the only thing missing were some matching bangles. So I decided to make my own bangles.

The watch and the Solitaire Ring with Jacket Set are Avon jewelries. The ring is a Silverstone CZ ring with two crystal-accented jackets. I actually love the rings with jackets from Avon and I love wearing them all together.

These beads were perfectly matching; I had polished some wooden beads with my pink Avon nail polish.

What do I think about this product?

I had given this lip gloss in the shade ‘Pumped Up Plum’ and the SuperShock Max Mascara (from the previous post) to a friend as a birthday gift and she told me that the gifts are perfect. So maybe you can also surprise one of your friends with this lip gloss, though the ‘Pumped Up Plum’ isn’t available at Amazon at the moment, but the other 7 shades are available.;)

The SuperShock Liquid Lip Shine SPF15 in Tickled Pink is actually my newest lip gloss. This lip gloss feels comfortable on my lips and I also feel comfortable applying with the super applicator, which delivers a little bit more color then the normal applicators. Though when I layer it more then 2x on my lips, the lip gloss seems to easily get on my teeth. I love the pearly high-gloss lushness of this lip gloss. I would rather say that this lip gloss is a sheer-to-medium coverage; you can still see a little bit through it if you layer it on your lips a few times.

Going to the beach? Take this lip gloss along with you to turn you into a beach bombshell. There’s SPF15 to protect your lips from harmful UV rays. It’s also great for wearing at night; I was actually wearing this lip gloss at night past Friday on my cousin’s birthday party.

What do I think about this product?

I’m not 30+ yet, but I wanted to see how good this product really is, so I had ordered the trial size of this body lotion. At first, I feel a tingling sensation when applying this body lotion. What I love about the Solar Advance Sunscreen Body Lotion SPF30 is that it absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel greasy. I feel very comfortable wearing this body lotion and it has a soft neutral scent. I can’t say anything about the tighter and toned part, cause the trial version contains a small amount of body lotion to notice any difference on that part. If you like quick, easy applications like I do, there’s also the Anew Sunscreen Body Mist SPF28; the ads say, ‘Skin looks and feels firmer. Dark spots appear faded. Lightweight, oil-free’. I’m thinking of ordering one of the two full size Solar Advance products in the future. There’s also the Solar Advance Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF45 available, which I haven’t tried out, cause I have a very sensitive skin and I actually get rashes from the Anew facial products, except for the eye creams, but they seem to work very well on my mom’s skin. This is what the ads say about the Solar Advance Sunscreen Face Lotion SPF45 if you’re interested: ‘Dramatically reduces the look of wrinkles and diminishes visible discolorations.’ You can find the Anew Solar Advance products for a much cheaper price out here then from your Avon representative. I had ordered my trial size body lotion for $5; you can order it from your Avon representative for $2.99 soon and from the link below you can get it for $0.40 today!!! The full size sunscreen products are also much cheaper out here as well as the SuperShock Liquid Lip Shine SPF15.
