Pretty nails

What do you need?

To start with some nail polishes and a topcoat.

Step1: Apply one coat of one of your nail polishes

Step 2: Get a manicure sponge or some kind of other sponge that you can find. I used a sponge from the kitchen from which I cut out a piece. Apply the nail polishes on the sponge. Dab the sponge on some of your nails and apply a top coat over the dabbed nail polish.

Step 4: Get some nail jewels, stickers, glitter or any nail decorating pieces and decorate your nails which you hadn’t dabbed with the sponge. Apply a top coat over your nail decorating pieces.

Clean your nails and this is the end result.

Hope you liked today’s post.
Wishing you a great weekend!

On the Ramp

When I was in India, I got the opportunity to be a ramp model for one night. I actually didn’t want to participate at first, but as they needed some more models I agreed. The institute where I was studying was celebrating their 25th silver jubileum. This had been a great experienced for me. I had bought a saree for my friend’s wedding, which I wore at the fashion show. How do I look in my saree?

I had bought these Elle nail pops which I had combined with black nailpaint from the Indian brand True Colors, which I bought for less then $1. :)

This is how the red nailpolish looks like. I was wearing it to the birthday party previous Saturday.

From the Elle brand I also had bought a kohl eye liner which I wear almost every workday and which I love.

I amost have 100 followers on my blog! Yay…thanks for following everyone! I will definitely be following you back if I haven’t followed you back yet.

Hugs and kisses

Add some glossy color to your day

Nailwear Pro & SpeedDry+ Nail Enamel

About this product
The Nailwear Pro Nail Enamel and the SpeedDry+ Nail Enamel doesn’t contain formaldehyde, toluene or phthalates. At the moment, the Nailwear Pro is available in 24 colors in the brochures and the SpeedDry+ in 10 colors.

The brochure ads
The SpeedDry+ Nail Enamel dries in less then 30 seconds. Nailwear Pro Nail Enamel: high-gloss shine, salon-quality precision brush, high-lacquer finish, wears up to 10 days with normal touch-ups. Gorgeous glossy color. Change is good…so go on, try a new color. What’s your color today?

What do I think about this product?
My color today is Classic Fit, but this color isn’t available at Amazon at the moment; though you can find lots of other fun colors at Amazon on the links below. I love the precision brush and the smooth glossy finish. On my feet, the Nailwear Pro and the SpeedDry+ stay on (the way I had polished them) for about 10 days, but because I’m doing the laundry, washing the dishes etcetera, these nail enamels wear for about 2 days on the nails of my hands. The SpeedDry+ doesn’t dry in less then 30 seconds in Suriname, it takes a lot longer. The colors are fun and flirty and for the finishing touch there’s the UV Glossguard top coat. I had also tried the ‘Matte Nail Enamel’ from Avon in Violetta, but I find that one ugly; it kind of looks as if my nails have been painted with house paint.

My overall score: an 8 out of 10

Blue sky twinkle meets green meadow - set

I had bought the beads I’ve used for this set, for lamp decoration. As I had spent my money on other things, I thought of buying the lamp some other time. That’s how I started making jewelry. As I succeeded in making my first pair of self-made earrings, I started making more and more jewelries, and I’m actually enjoying a lot creating the jewelries.

I had cut out disks from a plastic bottle for this set. You can use any plastic bottle to cut out the disks.

The perforating-machine I’ve used is probably as old as I am; I have used dad’s perforating-machine since childhood. It’s a very sturdy machine. I was afraid that I would break our new machine, so I used the old strong rusty one. After cutting out the disks, I had painted the disks with nail polish. You actually need a thick nail polish to do the painting. I had used nail polish in the colors lagoon and jade. Because I had used a clear plastic bottle, I only had to paint the jade nail polish on one side; the color is visible on the other side also. The blue lagoon nail polish actually wasn’t thick, so I had to paint the disks on both sides. I had slid the disks into pins with big heads before painting the disks, so the painting wouldn’t get spoiled. I actually did spill some nail polish on the sheet because of my clumsiness.

Get your 24 pc of Color Craze nail polish set from the picture link below.

You can also buy ready made disks from other materials if you don’t want to paint disks. I love working with nail polish, except for when it comes to my own nails. I’m not very good at polishing my own nails. When I want my nails to look special, I actually ask one of my sisters to polish my nails. They’re good in making nice designs. The set of Color Craze nail polish on the left is on my wish list. People have commented about this nail polish that it goes on smoothly. I actually love nail polish that goes on smoothly, and I love the beautiful bright electric colors, and it’s for a good price also. This nail polish set actually got 5 stars at Amazon.

This is the outcome after threading, twisting and tying. I do need pliers with a pointed ending, because it’s difficult to make round loops with big pliers.
